Drive Folder Size calculates folder totals directly in Google Drive. Large folders can take longer because Google Drive does not provide a folder-total field and descendants must be listed recursively.

Quick troubleshooting

1. Open the extension popup and confirm Google Drive is connected.
2. Reload the Google Drive tab after installing or updating the extension.
3. Select Refresh visible sizes to recalculate the folders currently shown.
4. If a result appears stuck, select Clear size cache, then refresh the visible sizes.
5. Make sure the connected Google account can access the folder shown in the active Drive tab.

Report a problem

Open an issue in the public support issue tracker with the extension version, Chrome version, and exact error message. Do not post file names, folder names, folder IDs, screenshots containing private Drive data, or OAuth tokens.
